So it has begun, there may be a brief respite for a day when everyone cries "Indian Summer" but autumn is here and I have to get used to cycling into head winds and the constant threat of rain.
I wouldn't be too bothered but having just shelled out for cycling mitts and skinny tyres I will without a doubt in the next couple of weeks be back in full fingered gloves and fatter winter ready tyres.
Still, having just worked out through mapmyfitness that I have cycled 2,500 miles in the last 12 months I must have survived last years winter, so head down for the head winds and lets hope the rain doesn't last too long!
